Your guitar pickup wants to see a vacuum tube before it sees anything, let alone a chain of stomp boxes, capacitive loading cables and connections in the signal path. The VTLD 1 restores dynamic touch response and tone integrity.
A 12AY7 drive stage receives your pickup and conditions it to drive floor pedals. An additional 12AT7 post effects recover stage sends an optimized signal to your amp input.
Plus – a sublime tube Gain Boost with Level and Tone control, Loop Bypass and a discreet Mute/Tune output.
